Hey there to everyone. So I've just brought a 09 550xp. It arrived a couple of weeks ago. Brought it from a dealer. Picked it up from truck Depot and check engine light was on and also has a harsh rattle that comes and goes from the trans area. It's harsh enough to change the engine rpm and cause the bike to shake. It comes and goes. The dealer said that this is completely normal for a 550. I really want the bike but it's nearly at the point of being sent back for a refund. I have a video also if anyone wants to hear. But can't seam to attach it. Please I'd love some advice or help. If there is an issue or a common one how is it fixed?

Good day, i was wondering if someone could tell me what the symptoms are for rear diff malfunction on outlander 850 xt.

Built a rear rack for the bed of the 6x6, had it Rhino coat like the wife's Commander as well. Gave it a good work out this weekend at camp, worked great.

Pretty much the title, started late last year.. parked it for winter, problem persists.

I had a tuner in there last year, it got wet and malfunctioned so I took it out and am running without one now. Would an ECM flash effect the idle RPM? The dealer ship thinks it could be the "Idle motor" or something, I don't quite remember.. Supposed to take it in tomorrow.



My friend thinks its just dirty clutches or a bad bearing. Not sure what to do as if I bring it to the dealer it will sit on their lot for a month, bike is pretty much not usable right now, have to shut it off to switch gears.



Any suggestions?

Hey guys I have an 07 outlander 800 if I put the bike in high gear it just grinds and doesn’t want to move but every other gear works does anyone know what the problem could be?
