So my 2016 Sportsman 570 efi battery location is in the most dumbest spot ever, it is in the front of the wheeler on the inside left tire. I am afraid that when it gets wet that is what's ruining my battery. I had to replace the battery after owning it for the 1st year. It wasn't a good battery and the only thing I can think of is because of the stupid location of where the battery sits. So when out mudding/hitting water puddles/holes it's ruining my batteries. What ever happened to having the battery located under the seat back in the day? Why is it located by the left front tire inside? I personally think that's a bad dumb spot for it as you can't have too much fun now because it gets super wet in its location and smacked by whatever weeds that gets in that area. Just was wondering if there is anyone out that who also has this same issue and found a possible way to have that fixed and not have a bad battery every year and what I can do to not have this issue or cause a fire if it were to be wrapped. Can someone explain the difference between the “o-ring” and a “non o-ring” Chains, and which is the best for general all around the farm work?

I have a 2018 Sportsman 850 SP.Im trying to leave it bone stock for the most part.Ive seen a lot of carnage on the Facebook groups.With the front diff covers blowing on the 850’s and 1000’s.I guess even with the newer factory steel covers the problem persist.My question is which aftermarket cover should I go with?And do they come with the bearing and seal or will I need to order that separately?It will still be awhile before I jump the gun on one.Mine has what I believe is a wheel bearing making noise,I need to get the fixed under warranty first.Kinda sucks with 80 miles on it but it is what it is.

Jus wondering what u guys r doing about replaceing the bearing in the bottom of the steering shaft that sets on the front diff of a 2012 non eps 850 Sportsman XP..

From what i have been told Polaris doesn't offer a separate replacement for this..u need to purchase the whole steering shaft to get this bearing..anyone able to shine a little light on this for me?
Mine is completely beat out and has alot of movement in this area..

looking at buying a 2015 800 outlander XMR with 3000km and dalton clutch kit and a big gun slip on exhaust i noticed it dont have a tuner will it need one?. wondering what i should look for when i go to look at it thanks

Looking for a little help here. Picked up a 2013 renegade 800. Previous owner broke the tip of key. Instead of getting new they rigged it with a different keyed ignition and also ran wires and alligator clips to the original key. System worked but while out riding I managed to lose the key. Machine came with a new ignition and ecm so I decided to switch them out. Now it blows a fuel/ecm fuse soon as key is turned on. If I put old switch back on and run new key through jumpers it starts and runs fine. So I'm guessing the wires for the switch are not in correct spots in plug. Been trying to find a picture of wires but cant find anything and was hoping someone could help me out. Thanks

Hi all, I tried to find it on my own but couldn't find anything. I recently bought a 2018 570 and am looking at putting on ITP Blackwaters 26/9R12, 26/11R12. They aren't significantly bigger than the 25/8, and 25/10's. However, does anyone know if this would cause any warranty issues? Also would they fit without rubbing on stock rims?

The stock tires have a fairly shallow tread and I believe they are a fairly thin ply tire. I figured may as well go a bit bigger if I'm upgrading.

Most of my time on bike is in fairly remote rugged country, often solo. So I want a tough tire.
