Hi everyone, I'm a new Can-am owner, and had a quick question. Does anyone know of lights that fit into the opening next to the regular head-lights? I'm sure I could measure, and then search for ones that size, but wasn't sure if anyone has put lights in there and have recommendations? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Hi I am from Bathurst NB and I just received a recall on my Outlander 570 Max DS for the steering, I have purchased my new Atv at the end of August, so far love it, but now I am advised that my bike is not safe to drive and the replacement part will only be available in May, in the mean time they offer a temporary fix but you should still not drive it because you shouldn't drive faster than 30km/hr or 20 miles per hour, which is out of the question on our groom trails. I asked if they were going to compensate me for the 6 months of not being able to use my bike, they said they would extend the warranty, this is not acceptable, they want me to pay on a bike for 6 months that I can't drive it, I have only owned it for 4 months, this is ridiculous, anybody else in this predicament and any suggestion my options.
Finally got a new ride.
570 Hunter Edition. Not sure how ANYONE lives without these heated grips and thumb lever. My God. It is outstanding. The best accessories ever.
I think I want to put the hand guards on it and the mirrors. I can see where the guards require the mounting bracket kit and they should just bolt on. Can someone tell me how the mirrors mount? The handlebar looks completely loaded right now. Not sure where they can even go if they use clamps. I did some searching but didn't see any pictures or instructions anywhere.

OL2’s on G2 XMR 650
I had been wanting to upgrade the factory Mudzillas on my XMR to OL2's for a few months and could only find pictures of a yellow and black G2 XMR 650 so I am posting pics of them on my 650 to maybe help someone else out in the future. I used the SS312's that are 14x6 with a 4+2 offset and 28x9.5 OL2's all around. The total weight of the wheel/tire combo is 58 lbs. I have not been able to test them in the mud yet, but first impressions just putting around the yard is they are going to do good.

Hybride Polaris Sportsman

My name is Rob from the Netherlands and I bought a Polaris Sportsman Xp1000 2017. I take a look at this forum from time to time for information.
This is not a ordinary Sportsman anymore, it is turned into a Hybride. A double electric driveline with a 10kWh battery pack and with a multifuel range extender attached! It has got 220HP and 300Nm connected to two limited slip transmissions with 100% lock function. Also placed the suspension 14cm wider (changes chassis) for more stability and to create more space for the transmissions :smile Just wanted to share!
It will be running in Januari 2018 for some base trials and determin the energie balance offroad. After that more to come........

WARNING: 2016 850 SP Castle nut failure
During my trip to the Hatfield and McCoy trails, I was approaching a turn in the trail, so I applied handbrake. The handbrake had no resistance and pulled all the way to the handlebar grip. The active descent and the foot brake were fortunately enough to slow the atv and avoid an accident. After the incident, I discovered the cotter pin had sheared on the left front castle nut. This allowed the castle nub to loosen and the front wheel hub to slide down the axle, which somehow allowed the brake pads to fall out!
I brought the machine into the dealer, since it only has 33 hrs and is under warranty. Polaris was consulted without action. Claiming the nut looked like it had been worked on before. (no sh!t, it was tightened on the trail to get home) What a crappy company and machine. I bought this machine with hopes there was an american made company still producing superior products.
After trailering the atv back to camp, I discovered the atv squeaking and moving forward without pressing the throttle. (This only happens when in L, H, or R at idle). Later discovered this was a frozen one-way bearing on the clutch.
Over heating exhausts, exploding front diffs, failed clutches... add one more to the pile Polaris.
