Waterpump weep line – What does this mean?

I've done some research on this topic, but I am not really clear what the actual problem is, or what needs to be done, or if its actually a problem. It would appear that my 2017 Renegade XXC 850, has the issue of the weep line leaking coolant. My machine has about 17-hours on it, and around 100 miles. My machine is out of the basic 6-month warranty, and I do not have any other warranty, so I assume I am will be fixing this myself, or paying to have it done.

What exactly needs to be replaced, if there is in fact a problem? I couldn't find much on the parts diagram on what exactly might be needed. I've read that some special tools are needed, and that the installation is not easy and can easily be screwed up (hence why there are quite a few with this issue straight from factory).

Just for clarification: My machine is an XXC, so from factory it had the couple inch long dump tube off the water pump, but I added the factory XMR Snorkel kit a few weeks back, which re-locates that line up around the snorkel. There is really no way to tell if it was leaking before the snorkel, but I am guessing it was. Since that tube was only a couple inches long and dumped to the ground, I have no way to tell if there was coolant coming out previously or not. I put about 4-5 hours on my machine after the snorkel, and this is the results of that weep line after that 4-5 hour ride. There is probably about 12" of the line that has coolant in it.

What do you all think? My machine was a demo unit, so I feel there is a good chance that this is related to how the demo hours were added to the machine.

Roll pin removal

I am going to be removing my front differential and need some advice on roll pin removel. Is it worth getting the Polaris tool of just using a punch pin?

Battery

I know this has been discussed in the past but what are people running for batteries? Please include model numbers. I am contemplating a 30ah Bike Master Lithium but am not sure it'll fit and there are 0 catalogs showing it. What are people's thoughts on Lithium?

Thanks,
Tom
