No fuel to a new carb help?
Hi,
I have a 1998 Polaris Sportsman 500. It had some running issues so I installed a new carb, fuel filter and drained out the old fuel.
Now I can't get it to start back up for the first time. When I spray in starting fluid it will run until it burns off.
I pull the fuel line off the carb, hold it over a can, fuel comes out. I'm not sure if how to test for a vacuum issue or there are some common trouble shooting steps with a new carb, but any help would be greatly appreciated!

New Guy Here
Hello all,
Eric here from central Texas, I run a family sea-doo dealership here in Kingsland. We use to be a can-am dealer back in the Traxter days. Still run a 2000 Traxter daily to pull boats and skis to the boat ramp. Other rigs include an 07 Outlander 500, and 16 Commander Max LTD.

Tyre question
I need to change my tyres on my Outlander 800R max ltd,
At this time I'm guessing they are the oem ones that are on it but I'm a bit confused with the dimensions. I'm thinking to buy the Maxxis Ceros but they advertize the size different so I do not now wich one to buy.
On the front I have 205/85 R12 MST and on the rear 255/70 R12 MST but Maxxis offer 25x..... or 26x.... wich ones do I need ? Please help, I'm ordering them online so asking is a bit difficould.
Thanks in advance

Tire width and wheel fitment
Ok experts, I've looked and looked and haven't found what I'm looking for. I have a chance to buy 8 inch WIDE and 10 inch WIDE tires. But I have 9 and 11 inch WIDE wheels. I did read where you can put a larger width tire on a narrower width wheel, but I'm doing the exact opposite and haven't read anything about putting a narrower width tire on a larger width wheel. Can this be done? Please help..

What did I buy?
I recently bought what I think is a 1991 Trail Boss 350L.
It's needs some TLC, so I wanted to confirm with Polaris that I had the right year so I could make sure to order the correct parts.
I phoned them and gave them the 7 digit VIN/Serial number (2543439) and it came back as a 1995 4x4 300!
It looks like a 1991 Trail boss 350 to me and the top end was recently rebuilt with a 350 piston kit, so I'm a little confused.
I ran the numbers on the motor and it's a 350 for sure.
The only thing I can think of is that someone used a 300 frame to rebuild their 350? Is that even possible?
Here's a pic of the atv I bought.
Any suggestions as to what I have would be great and maybe why Polaris thinks it's a totally different atv.

Power steering!
I'm sure this has been discussed before. I just picked up my 2013 maverick x rs, so far I love it but where I live there are a lot of tight trails and I am running 30" wheels, looking at getting power steering but I don't know the advantages or disadvantages of either the 220w or the 400w from super atv. any suggestions?
