Ok , I’m at a loss now.
2013outlander 1000xmr , battery not charging. Has died on last run when using lights.

Recharged battery.
Disconnected all aftermarket accessories. Checked all fuses , Checked main grounds from batt to frame and engine , checked batt + cable and negative connections, checked for voltage from mag ( 19v and up ) checked voltage at output of regulator ~15v ,
Check voltage at battery while running idle , 12.3 , under acceleration still 12.3 V.

Any ideas out there ?

Looking to sell one of my 250 Trailblazers for something I can plow with. I am far from a Polaris engine newbie since I have been riding Polaris snowmobiles since 1992 and currently own 14 Polaris snowmobiles and/or watercraft.

I don't want to put chains on tires and mark my driveway up. I live in mid Michigan where I get some snow but nothing like the northern part of the state. Prefer a US built Polaris engine that is carbed. What would you suggest in $3,000 range? Any year or CC I should stay away from? Thanks

I have a 2005 sportsman 700 twin efi. I'm changing out the valve cover to the metal one now and I was reading about the plastic water pump propeller.. I did remove the radiator cap and look for flow. But I can't tell if much or anything is moving. Anyone have a video I could compare my flow to? And if not, If I drained the fluid and removed the water pump cover and check to make sure the nut is tight and the fins aren't destroyed, am I going to disturb any seals if there is nothing wrong with the propeller?

So a buddy of mine is letting me get a super atv 6" lift off of his 2014 sportsman 850.

I purchased this bike for my daughter earlier this summer as a basket case with a spun rod bearing and finally got around to the rebuild last week.

After getting the engine taken care of and back in the bike I started it up without any issue. I was letting it sit and idle to get up to temp and saw smoke start pouring from the front (the CDI box). I was going to just order the CDI but I want to make sure I am fixing the issue not just buying a new CDI to cook. I have read there are some issues with the voltage regulators/ECM on these bikes but i cant see how to test it. As soon as I turn on the key the CDI starts smoking so I cant run it.

ECM Part Number on this model is 4010944

Thoughts?
