Got the Pursuit camo version... wanted more power than my 570, new body style and EPS, so Pulled the trigger and found a brand new one for $9500 out the door.
Haven't ridden it yet, probably on Sunday. Any things to look out for? I mainly trail ride, some mud but nothing crazy. Going to Hatfield McCoy in November...
Need to get the Polaris 3500lbs synthetic winch, which I just ordered for $329 including taxes, should be here next week. This one is plug and play I believe? Unlike the one I had on my 570...
The stock tires, I am not crazy about. I think they are 2 ply I read?
They are 26's, but I am considering a set of 27's... shouldn't need a reclutch with this much power. My thought it to go to 27's, and do 11" on the back and 9" on the front. Might slow down the power steering a tad at higher speeds?
I put the front and rear shocks from the softest positions, to the middle position of the adjustment range... I am 250lbs, but don't want them crazy stiff or to have the quad standing on its tip toes and make it more top heavy...
I had 2" offset rims on the 570 and I liked that wider stance, but this one seems almost the same width as the offset 570. Is that correct?
Am I missing anything else?
I don't plan to bury it in mud, but I do aggressive trail riding and there is some occasional mod and ruts...
Suggestions?
