I wanted to upgrade my tie rods and was wondering what the best tie roads are? I was contemplating power steering and a locker so I wanted to beef it up. I heard good things about American Star "pro" series but I also heard their heim joints are garbage. These threads were several years old so not sure if they fixed the issue or not. Thanks in advance.

Hey guys. I've been riding the can-am for 6 years now. Doing more and more maintenance on it so will need some help ans tips!

Have read many posts but finally signed up. Have a 2009 polaris hd 700 with a gremlin. Have had it to the repair shops several times , unfortunately after all the repair bills, the problem still exists. Cant wait to figure out this forum as im sure someone else has had the same gremlin. Lol when the ignition is turned on it will either start fine, hesitate and then start, go to turn over and just whur, or the battery light and needle will flash.

I know the plastic reduction gear cover is broke and that's what was causing the rattling after it started but what is causing the horrible noise when I hit the start button? It fires right up and the starter gear appears to be working correctly because it engages and disengages from what I can see with the cover off it. I pulled the starter out earlier and bench tested with a 12v power supply. It spun with no issues and no noise but I'm wondering if it is because there was no resistance on it. Any ideas???

I'm just wanting to know how big of a tire I can put on my Polaris 570 Ace? using the original 12" wheels it came with 25's and I did swap in some 26's with no clearance issues, but what about 27's?

Just got a Phoenix for free. The guy gave it to me the other day it starts up and runs fine but it is stuck in what feels like neutral. The light comes on for neutral but when you put it into forward or reverse nothing no pop no jerk like it's going into gear nothing and when you put it into neutral and try to roll it the tires are locked like it's in gear but it won't move I'm thinking the drive belt snapped but I think I'm wrong please help just want a little advice before I start taking it apart

I won't be riding 2up with an adult. It would be one of my kids (ages 6 and 8). I think the X2 seat will be more than sufficient. I found a used 2016 x2 for $5499. 411 miles. Versus the 2016 white touring with 210 miles for $1 more at $5500.

Thoughts?

ive got a bit of a situation and i was hoping someone could guide me through what i should do ......
ive got a 15 1000 xtp that was recently rolled and left running on its side for about 20 minutes and then shut off by its self ( driver was pinned underneath atv and unable to shut off)
towed it home and brought it to my mechanic and he drained the oil there was only a cup of oil that came out of the drain plug the rest was in the air box .... so he drained that as well... there was metal shavings in the oild filter as well . he put new oil and filter and it seemed to start / run ok so i went and picked it up i took it for a ride and it had a hard time starting almost like the pistons didnt want to move . went out for about an hour came home pulled the oil filter and there is more metal shavings . also at high rpm there is a ticking noise and all the power doesnt seem to be there .... had my mechanic come over again and he is saying i need a new motor ... is there anything else i could do before going to that conclusion.. thanks in advance sorry for the long story ...
