Purchased the kit shown in the title (for the turn signal kit) for an 850SP (I think the 850 and 1000 are identical dimensionally). So far the kit looks VERY well engineered with good directions. The wiring harness in particular with its color-coded wires looks great.

Question: Does anyone know which side of the bike the main wiring harness runs down towards the back? Directions say its easier to follow that than "chart your own course."

Hi guys, I hope to get some answers on this problem I've got with my 2015 Sportsman 570. I was out on the weekend on some dirt trails, nothing extreme just flat tracks and all of a sudden my bike just shut down, so I stopped and all the dash light were on still but the engine had stopped. I turned the key and it started straight away and off I went again for a few minutes and it did the same thing again, about another 30 times that afternoon. A few days before I went out I put my battery charger on the battery and it didn't seem to charge real great. So I took the battery and had it tested today at 2 different places and they both said the battery seems fine. When the engine is running it is charging at about 14.7 volts so there's enough charge going in. I'm lost for what it might be, it has only got 40hrs on it. Any ideas???????

2014 sportsman 570, just over 1000 miles. RIding atv and it just started running crappy. Does idle but will not rev up very good and little backfires when let go of gas. Checked so far: changed spark plug, changed gas, checked ohmes on tps and idle thing above tps and all checked good. Adjusted throttle cable. This was out of adjustment. Lock nut was backed off. The throttle cable adjustment did help with reving up but still not right. I want to adjust tps really bad but manual says not too. lol thinking a broken flywheel key. Is there a way to check key without pulling water pump and cover? I only have standard steering wheel puller for flywheel. Will this work? Thanks for help. Great forum!

Help i have a 2013 can am outlander 800max ltd went to ride it after taken a break from the mud when i have no power at all battery has power checked all fuses threw out the whole bike all good replaced all relays nothing checked the bottom of my fuse box and i pushed to see if i had any loose connections when i did that to the power jumper everything came on started up had to hold idle to keep running turned key off and took key out bike is still running. Can anybody assist

I have a 2016 sportsman 570 I bought it in march of 2016 I have broke 5 rear axles. I noticed when I go down a hill and let off the throttle the rear end locks up was wondering if anyone else was having any similar issues

Whats up guys. New to the site. Tried finding something ln this issue for the past 2 days and nothing seems to compare to ny issue so here it is. I have a 2015 can am outlander 800r. I recently started hearing a sound when turning hard left and right. It does this sound (like a metal to metal pop) in 2wd and 4wd. Thought it may be a cv axle so to test that theory I put it in 4wd locked out the tires left and right and hit the throttle. Nothing. But the said sound appears to be coming from the middle of the quad. And it's also like I can feel it when it does pop. I gave the best description possible for thus issue. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks guys.

I have a new outlander max xt and was wondering when first valve adjustment is due, love it so far. What am I to expect as far as cost for the service also? Thanks

2001 Traxter 500 won't start with start button but if we jump it it starts, however, it doesn't shift then, this model has the autoshift with manual option, has anyone had this problem or know where to start? The lights work on it, however, the high beam indicator light does not come on any longer. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
