So i ordered an HMF Titan slip-on exhaust from the dealer i bought my 4 wheeler from and they sent me this... (see pics below) part number on the tag is different from the box... and the fitment doesn't look anywhere near close to fitting :th_smiliepissed:... i call the dealer back to verify if this is correct and they told me yes...

does anyone else have an HMF muffler on there 2017 650 XMR???? the HMF site doesnt provide a part number for my year model... and i called HMF myself, they told me the haven't yet verified fitment for 2017 & 18 models...

any help is appreciated...

When I drive my can am, at takeoff slowly it seems to jump like something in the front end is binding. Then after it starts rolling pretty good it rides smooth. When trail riding after I start going and slow down, as long as I don't completely stop and start again it does fine. I know it has cv tech primary clutches and the 650 trans to give it a 25% gear reduction. I feel like that shouldn't be the cause but this is my first can am so I'm not sure. Would it be the front diff? Prepared to change it if needed. Already have replacement. Also would like to know the easiest way to remove over way to remove front diff. THANks.

Hey everyone. I have a 2006 Sportsman 450 that will not idle well when cold. Choke doesn't seem to help much. Just have to sit and hold the throttle until it warms up enough to shift it. Tried changing idle speed screw but then it idles too high once warmed up. I will note that I've seen it smoke some oil burning off when you start it up after letting it sit once in a while. I used to have a UNI on it, but now switched back to stock.

Just curious where to start. Could the oil smoke be related? Valves out of adjustment or low compression? I do admit I didn't clean the UNI as much as I should have, and is why I switched back to stock. Also had the valves checked probably 80 hours ago by my dealer. They did not adjust at that time.

Or is it in the carb somewhere? The wheeler doesn't get run a ton as it's up north, so I guess I wouldn't be surprised either if it's a fuel issue.

Replaced the battery this year and the issue I'm having is after riding around for an hour or so and then stopping the machine won't start again. Nothing on the display. Lights won't come on etc... If i let it sit for 30 minutes or so it will start back up and I can start and stop it maybe 10 times and then it will happen again. Usually at the most importune place. A few times the engine has completely shut down while riding but this is jot usually the case. I've checked the harness where the wires connect to the ignition and it seems fine. It sure wher else to check .. Not terribly mechanically inclined but won't be able to get it to a mechanic for at least a week so I was just seeing if there's something I might be able to check my self.. Thanks!

2006 Sportsman 800 EFI quits running after ~1 hr, wait an hour runs and repeats issue.
How do I check pump pressure or an electrical issue (component opening up when heated up).
