Starting problem, cranks, but won’t fire, need help please!

Hi All.
Am a really detail-oriented person, so please bear with me as I provide as much 'evidence' that I can, and ask for your help / tips to what might be going on.
Am a first-time ATV owner, bought this 2014 Sportsman 570 EFI EPS used, just about 60 days ago.

The unit was purchased with 63 Hours / 270 miles, it had little use.
The unit did have about a half-tank of fuel in it, that I didn't properly look at until the following problems have started.
I purchased this unit, for a piece of 35 acres that I just purchased to tow a small trailer around for rocks, wood, land-maintenance tasks. Am not using for trail riding, or anything like that. Just puttin' around the property, 15 mph kind of use, etc.

Have been using it repeatedly since I got it, about every 2-3 weekends, just driving around at these slow speeds, and the ATV has been working fine. Am somewhere near 70 hours on it now. No more than that.
This past weekend though, I did a quick haul-ass down the driveway about 200-300 yards, and then about 1/8 mile up the hill, and pulled into a driveway. Suddenly, the ATV sputters and dies..... Just cranks and cranks, but won't fire.
Took about 2-3 minutes of repeated attempts to get it started, it does. Turn around and try to head back to my driveway, slow speed, get about 100 yards, it sputters and dies again. This time, it simply won't start, just cranks and cranks, won't fire...

This is when someone tipped me off, that it sounds like the ATV is just not getting fuel.
This is when I took the time to look in the tank with a flashlight for the first time, and find that it's a very bad color in there.... Looks like I was very foolish, should have checked this weeks ago, and flushed the old fuel out.
The fuel pump does appear to be working, I can hear it buzz-up when the ATV is turned 'on'.
I suspect that my puttin' around on the property, riding slowly was not "stirring up" that crap in the tank. That quick haul-ass that I did, got something all stirred up, and has clogged the fuel pump or something.

The ATV is a 3-hour drive away, so I have a lot of time to try and figure out what's going on, and take the appropriate parts / tools, to try and repair.
Thus far, the articles that I've found, point to the fuel pump being the problem. That these are known to fail on the 570, even at low-hours like I have on this 2014 model.

Would very-greatly appreciate any tips / suggestions you guys have for getting this repaired. Thanks!

Xplorer 300 backfire and bogging

Bought a non-running 96 xplorer 300. Had the cylinder sleeved back to stock bore. New piston, rings. Started it. Erratic idle and bogging under throttle then backfires when you let off. Changed crank seals, same thing happened. Replaced the needle jet, jet needle, main jet, pilot jet. Piston is in correct, float arm is level with the carb body, the thing inside the throttle box that contacts the switch is broken off so the switch doesn't contact anything. It now idles great, revs through not even 1/8 throttle then just stumbles after that, then backfires when you let of the throttle. Blew the head pipe off with only one spring on. With or without the air filter makes no difference. Without it I can see fuel vapor coming out the carb. Trying to find a plug to close off the exhaust so I can pressure test the enginefor leaks. Got an adapter for the intake. If no leaks, I'm out of ideas.

Issues with Shocks/Chain

Hello. I apologize for what I know will be an easy answer. I have never owned an ATV before and I purchased a 97 Polaris Xplorer 300 4x4. I am trying to get it in as best shape as possible before I ride it and as I was going through it and noticed several things. First, is that it appears that a screw is holding the shock up and it does not seem that this is the correct bolt that it supposed to be there since it is bending. The second is that I need to replace the center chain that connects the 4x4 from the front to the back. I don't know which length that is. If it is the 64 or 70 pitch chain. Any help would be appreciated. And if anyone knows any resources that I can read and look for so I don't always have to ask and be self sufficient. Thanks!

Using JD parts in Traxter

All, I have a 2005 Traxter XL 500. I am having some props so need to do diagnosis. However, the speedometer has never worked since I got it. I have not been able to find a speedometer so the question is, could I use a speedometer from the same year John Deere Buck?

2016 sportsman 850 vs 2018 sportsman 850

So my brothers got the 18 850 and I have the 16. I rode his today for a while while mine was at the shop and his feels like it would run circles around mine. A lot better throttle response, more low end torque, etc. both machines are bone stock. I should note that his is an 850xp sportsman with eps and mine is an 850xp eps high lifter edition. Gotta say, after riding his, the seat is way more comfortable and I’m really considering upgrading to a 18/19.

What are the differences in these machines? I do know the high lifter has taller gears to compensate for the big ass paddle tires, but did they change cams, tuning, etc?
