1996 Trail Boss 250 finished Project!!

Spent some time this past weekend, and the last couple of days buttoning up this old girl. Figured out it's a 96 (not a 95). Ordered some color matching panels (I know the graphics aren't correct, but I was more worried about the color matching). Put on new rubber (Bear Claws in the back, and Kenda factories in the front). Rebuilt the carb, flushed the transmission, did the airbox mod, repainted the racks (couldn't find factory color, so I went with "Ocean Breeze"). Now I'm just waiting on a new chain, and she'll be ready to work and play! Runs and rides amazing for being 23 years old! Last pictures is the night I picked it up. Best $700 I've ever spent!

Now, I'm trying to talk myself out of getting a Ritter Stage 1 kit to really wake this thing up...

06 700 efi speedo not working

I went out to ride my wheeler and when I went to start it the speedometer would work. Nothing on the screen would turn on, it doesn’t light up and the needle doesn’t move. It was working last night. Anyone have any ideas on what it could be? Also would it do anything if I rode around with it like this?

Polaris ATV Trunk lock?

I hunted through the forums best I could (newbie) so as not to duplicate any questions or info previously provided, but didn't find anything....

Does anyone here know if ANYONE, Polaris or aftermarket, make a replacement 'keyed' lock for the Sportsman factory 'trunk'?

I have hunted all over internet in every way that I can think of searching with negative results. I have even been to the dealer and the many locksmiths in the area with the same results.
I would really like to be able to at least lock the trunk, if not the front cargo area too, but having no luck.
Any help, suggestions, or rude remarks ( ;-) ), from out there would be appreciated.
You all have a great week, and I thank you in advance for your time and assistance.

Hello from Wisconsin – 2018 Sportsman 570 Touring

Hello,
Newbie to forum, here.
Own a 2018 Sportsman 570 Touring, purchased immediately after our (surprise! 😃 ) Easter blizzard here. We love it!
I'm a retired USCG CWO4ENG4, 26 years active and, 7 years as a GS-13 at HQ (in DC 😕, nice place to visit, but having avoided HQ/DC like a plague for my entire active duty, went there for a 'retirement' job.....sick! 😂 ).
Anyway,glad to be here.

4×4 problems.

I have an 89 trail boss 250 4x4 and only one of the front tires would spin and it was very random (made plowing a pain). I've tinkered for days and now I have no front wheels spinning. I replaced the armature plates inside the clutch assembly, checked for magnetic pull, the rollers look great along with all the bearings. Could the magnets be too weak? I just put some new Mud lite ITP's on it and spring is around the corner so I'd love some input. I have uploaded some YouTube videos if I'm allowed to post if that helps.... I wanna keep this old beast going!! Thanks

Having issues with this thing. Hopefully someone here will be able to help point me in the right direction.
Here a while back the battery got real weak but the bike still fired up, it ran fine in low, but wouldn't get over 5500 rpm 45mph in high.
I charged the battery over night the next day it ran fine. Parked it up for a few weeks came back the battery was low again and the bike was doing he same thing. I charged the battery but no change. That was the original battery
Hoping it was the battery I picked up a new battery he other day installed it but ge bike is still doing the same thing, runs fine in low range but won't get over 5500 rpm in high.
I haven't checked the fuel pressure yet, I don't want to splice the fuel line unless I just absolutely have to, figured I'd check here first to see if someone else may have had the same issue
