2016 Sportsman 850 no electrical power

My friend has a 2016 Sportsman 850 with only 4 hours use and 200 kms on it, it is like new. It had the original battery in it and he did not have it on a maintainer. He recently tried to start it and it had no power at all to the cluster or anything else so he bought a new battery and installed it. All the connections are in place, fuses, breakers are good but still no power. I got him to check to see if there is any power to the ignition switch and there is none, the kill switch is on and switching it a bunch of times had no effect, the connections to the kill switch are clean and not at all corroded. The wiring diagram shows some fusible links, anyone know where they are located and if they could be the issue? Anything else we could check or other known issues that could cause this? I am hoping it is not the ECM.

Hello everyone I'm new to the forum and I just bought my first can-am it's a 18 Outlander xmr 1000r and I live in upstate ny. So far I love it I haven't had a chance to get it in the mud yet do to winter so I can't wait to see what it can do. Terrible.. crank pushed through when trying to remove Primary Clutch…

2005 rotax 650 motor freshly rebuilt from crank being sent off and fixed to new connecting rod, everything. went to remove primary clutch with clutch puller, and instead of popping off it pushed crank a good quarter inch through the cases.... I immediately stopped and after my blood pressure boiled... found that maybe I can use crank case splitter on one side to push on crank, and crank puller on other to pull it back in line? Anyone ever had this happen. I know that best thing would be to tear it down but motor is in the chassis, and I do not want anything to do with rebuilding it again. I’m so frustrated with this thing. Any ideas how bad it’s meased up? Please be honest. Thanks

What causes a voltage regulator to go bad

Went for a 40 mile local ride ,got home washed the bike, put it away(garage kept).
Fast forward 1 week,,,Went to load it up for an out of state ride and had code 168 3 come up(high voltage)So I replaced the V/C and everything is good. But what would cause it ?

So far I’ve added a 3000lb Superwinch, protaper handle bars and riser, Ogio front rack bag, 30” curved led light bar and recently just mounted 27” zillas.

Issue for 06 outlander 800 max

Been searching the internet for a solution for my 06 800 outlander I picked it up cheap from a friens and got it running but I have an issue with it when I turn the key to the first position everything works, lights, winch and etc but in the second position everything stops working again. It still starts and goes well but the cluster now also doesn't show anything now also when where I first got it running it did. I have done some electrical repairs on it but I didn't touch anything near the cluster. So hoping that maybe someone on this forum has maybe encountered this same issue and resolved it? Any insight would be appreciated.

TLDR ; cluster suddenly stopped working and accessories no longer work in the second position with key.
