Awd engaging?

Hello guys I just sold my old magnum 500 and replaced it with a used 2017 sportsman 1000. Only has 650 miles and well
Taken care of. It already has the upgraded pinion bracket. So I noticed the first time I rode it in the snow that after spinning a lot in 2wd it was automatically engage into awd, which is awful!!! I’ve looked online for an answer but have not come up with much. The reason that everyone keeps gernading is because of this, not a weak pinion brace/bracket. So does anyone know of a fix for this or what the actual underlying issue is?

shifting problem

I am new to the can-am side by side. I have only had this used Can-Am Maverick 1000r Xrs for about 5 months. Loving it so far but have had some issues with previous owners abuse on vehicle. Nothing to bad yet. Here is one of my problems. We usually do anywhere from 40 to 100 mile runs every other weekend.

This is the issue I am having
I have a 2013 can am maverick 1000r. I am having problems shifting sometimes. When I go into high it will be in low. It will also drive forward when I am in neutral. If I play around with it, it will go into high and I can drive no problem. Other times I can be cruising along in high and all of a sudden loose power like it has shifted into neutral.

Is this a shifter cable issue. If so do you know of any videos I can watch to see how it is done.

Is it a drive pulley clutch problem.

Any ideas and fixes and videos of how to are very much appreciated.

Thanks
