Help identifying part
Just bought a 2017 X3Ds and this part was in the glove box. Anyone know what it is?
450 HO shutting off
I've got a 2016 sportsman 450 HO with 50 miles and 9 hours. It sat for 6 months while i was deployed. But prior to the deployment, last junish. It started running rough, it would shut off while idling and would break up and back fire while accelerating. Additionally. It would get over 20mph. I put fuel stabilizer in it while deployed.
Upon returning, a couple weeks ago. I installed a new fuel pump, injector, plug and battery. I blew out the fuel rail and lines with injector cleaner and compressed air and drained all the old fuel and put new 93 octane in it.
Yesterday, it started and idled fine for 20 minutes so i decided to test ride it. It would only get to 20mph and then bog down or break up.
Today I took the plastics back off as it wouldnt even try to crank. I pulled the brake lever in as usual and nothing. coincidently the brake lights weren't coming on either. So I unplugged the break light switch and jumped the wire and it started. But it back to running for less than a minute and just shutting off. It doesnt idle down or give an indicator that it is going to stall, it just dies.
The map/maf looks clean and dry. I pulled the throttle body off and with the key in the "on" position did a functions check. The only thing I found peculiar was that at wide open throttle the body blade only opens about half way. I took it off and unplugged it. It does move all the way open with my fingers. Has anyone else ever looked inside the throttle body to see how their drive by wire works?
Anyhow, I'm stuck. I feeling like it's an ignition timing thing or anECU, but i dont know.
Thanks for any help.

08′ Sportsman 500 – High Beam Problem
Hey guys and gals,
I have a bit of a problem here (many, I fact if I can be really honest with you lol)...
I was trying to diagnose the problem with the highbeam not working on the 2008 Polaris Sportsman 500 (EFI). The bulb was fine as I tried it in the low beam and it worked fine. So I dug down into the wiring in the pod a bit and I found that the wire has become dry, brittle and has broken. A simple fix would be so just solder or crimp on a connector and seal it up, right?
Well it's broken right before a sealed casing, feels like there are other wires crimped in the shrink wrap.
What are my options? I'd ideally like to modify it so it comes on with the lows but I've never done this and I'm skeptical about royally fudging it up...Attachment 115403

2006 Outlander 650 XT 4×4 won’t disengage
So the shop put a new switch on and a new actuator. Brought it home yesterday and it worked. Went to move it today and won't disengage the 4x4 and can't hear actuator running. Any experts know what might be the issue?

ECU Reflash info
I'm leaning more and more towards getting my ECU reflashed, I'm also concerned that my 3 year warranty will be void if I do it? Really want my bike to run cooler but I don't want to be paying the bill if something detrimental happens to my engine
