Winch doesn’t work on start up
I live in central NY. Among other things I plow with my quad. Lately when I start it, and go to lift the plow, nothing. First time it happened the winch would only go out, but not in. I found the ground and the contactor, everything is clean and connected, and after a few minutes it works. Last few times I’ve gone to plow, ATV fires right up but the winch doesn’t work. I jiggle the wires and check stuff, and eventually it works. Long question short, could it be so cold (low double digits), the battery has to “charge” itself until it has enough amps to use the winch? Once it starts, I can plow for 2 hours no problem
Thanks!!!
Thanks!!!

Should I purchase a 2013 maverick 1000R?
Hey guys, I am new to side by side world, but I now have an opportunity to purchase a 2013 Maverick 1000R with a bit over 1500 miles on it for $8000.
Any suggestions for or against it? Should I be looking for anything specific? And are these vehicles reliable.
Ive seen some good reviews on it but I wanted some real world experience
Thank you

Trailer for 2 Outlander Max?
Hi guys, I really hope someone can tell me what is the best trailer option for 2 Outlander Max?
We are planning to buy 2 Outlander Max, probably one a 570 xt and the second a 650 xt, and I can’t figure out what trailer to get.
A couple of dealers recommended me a Triton Atv 88, but the bed is only 79” x 104”. Outlander max is 94” long with a wheelbase of 59” - so the wheels and some front/rear will stick out 6-7 inches on each side. Is that OK? Cannot be very easy to load in such tight space. Any of you having a similar setup?
Second option would be to get a Triton double snowmobile - but this is a tilt. Would it work if I get some ramps and using it that way ?
Thanks and please let me know your suggestions.

Hello
Hi guys, I am new to the forum and the atv world . Planning to get with my wife a couple of Outlander Max, so we can ride all around Ontario and beyond. As I am completely new in this world, hope to get valuable info and advice from all of you !
Primary issue/creeping pics
So after somewhat disassembling my primary, I immediately noticed my faceplate was not in good condition. The sleeve or bearing the primary rides on when it moves in and out had some surface rust on it. Enough to where it was definitely not smooth and was elevated.
By the way I have an 08 800 outty with an stm secondary and a vfj TEAM series primary, prior to him discontinuing them. I have done very little maintenance to it and this is probably why this is happening.
Need to also figure out how to remove the spider piece to get to my weights. I can’t remember how I changed my weights last time.

Howdy!
I have several Polaris 4-wheelers and they get plenty of use in the mountains and high-plains deserts of Colorado.
This forum has been helpful to me in the past, so I might as well join. Just retired last June and am already spending more time horseback and on the atv's. Yeehaw!
This is a great forum. Thanks for letting me join in.

Bent frame, next move?
Riding during the snowstorm the other night and I clipped a tree with my tire on the right side of my outlander. I bent my frame, and I'm not sure what my next move should be. I know many of you have gone through this, so I was hoping for some insight. Thanks in advance.
