Hi, I'm a first time ATV owner, I bought a 2010 Can Am Outlander 500 Max, so I can handle a rider.
My daughter and I did our first trail ride in the snow yesterday and the bike was awesome.
It rolled through minimally groomed snowy trails with ease and cut new trails without any trouble.
The grip heaters got too warm and I learned that the "off" setting is in the middle of the toggle switch.
We live in Brockville, Ontario, Canada so we're looking forward to joining our local ATV club.
I'm very happy with my first Can Am.

Hey guys. One of my oil lines started leaking so when I went to remove it I broke the oil cooler. I have seen prices from $350 to $425 and I just cant justify it. So, has anyone used a different oil cooler from something else like say one from a car or from a parts store? I dont see why it wouldn't work if you fabricated some brackets. Anything I'm not thinking of? Thanks for any help!

Hello everyone. I have an 18 xp1000 touring with about 20 hrs on it, that will stall when it is fully turned to the right only . It will stall whether the bike is in motion or not. I've looked for pinched wires, or wires that may be pulled tight when turning, but everything seems ok. Has anyone come across this before or have any suggestion. I know I can bring it back to the dealer, but I live a far distance away and would prefer not if it's a simple fix. Thanks.

Bought a 2002 Xplorer 400 and getting it up to speed.. anyone know what type of oil to use in the injector, transmission oil and coolant? Does it have to be Polaris?

Hello everyone. This is my first post. I just recently became a polaris owner and noticed a problem when cleaning it tonight. It rides and runs fine, and I recently did the first 25 hour service. When cleaning it tonight I noticed very slight bending and rust on the arms that lead to the tires. (Not sure what they are called) . We have only had this polaris for a few months and im wondering what could be causing this. It's only happening on the two front tires of the vehicle It's a 570-6 With a two inch lift on it with some msa's and 27 inch tires. Here is a picture.

Just checked, 7/8 on right, 1/2 on left. Time to adjust. Is 1/4 to 1/8 still called for on 2017 ACE 570, no dual struts? Thanks.

Hey guys, I’m trying to install a kfi winch on my 2011 500 ho. I have the winch on but the wiring has me confused. The electrical coming from the handlebar switch has the hookup for the wires on the contactor and I can do that, but it has a red wire coming out as well that obviously has to be connected to hot. I have 2 orange wires and a 4 hole connector that are pre wired under the handlebars. Do I hook the red into those? Or what the heck are they for?? Can I run an extender from the red wire to the red post on my contactor?

I am not mechanically inclined so please talk to me as if I’m 2. It’s probably the only way I will understand.

I have replaced the starter, starter clutch, and battery, but will nit start. I pulled the starter out and spins fine, but when I put it in and hit the start button the solinoid just clicks, any idea what I need to do?

I just bought a 2016 sportsman 450 ho, the quad is almost brand new, only 1500 km on it. It ran great for a few days. We had a cold snap, minus 40 Celsius to be exact. Went to start it, it started just fine, sputtered a bit and died within a few seconds. Would continue to turn over, but would not start. It did start for about 5 seconds the next day, backfired and didn't run again. 3 days later and a fresh charge on the battery and it ran for a few seconds again, then died. Figured I would get a new battery, had to be the issue. Bought a new battery, charged it up to capacity. Installed it, and here we are, it wont start just keeps turning over. It has fresh gas, good spark plug. I have no idea where to go from here. (Note, lights and winch work no problem when quad is on).
