Hey folks!
Just bought a '15 Sportsman 1000 XP, picking it up on Saturday. It has about 1,900km (1,180 miles) on it, and I'm just wondering if there's anything I should have a look at before signing the paperwork on Saturday. I intended to give it a good shake and check the bushing and bearings all around, and the front diff cover from my understanding. Given the low mileage and the way the bike is accessorized, I would say it likely wasn't driven very hard by the previous owner.
First thing I want to do is ditch the windshield, pick up the Cecco diff cover, and possibly some skid plates. Any other suggestions for mods or improvements I should look at? I'm coming from an '08 Brute Force 750i, and really looking forward to picking up this new bike. I read something about exhaust melting plastics, is there a TSB for this that I should have done at my local Polaris dealer? Thanks!
