Which plow mount works with this?
Trying to wrap my head around the million plow mounts. I think this is a Glacier type, but not sure which.
Wiring issues aaarrgg
1994 Sportsman 400 4x4
Where do the wires go in the distribution block. Does anyone have a schematic or drawing? I have looked and can't find one. Mine are a mess
I can get the engine running by bypassing or jumping the solenoid
KEY SWITCH
Red wire receives wire direct from the battery
Red/black wire has 12V in position 2 or 3
Brown wire- no power in any position
Black wire- no power in any position
I took the key switch apart.
In position 1- key full counter clockwise, this connects black wire and brown wire (continuity)
In position 2 or 3 - key fully upright or key full clockwise- this connects red wire with red/ black wire
Problem is I am getting NO power to anything else in the distribution block. Start button does nothing. I have no lights to anything, no power from the power block to any of the wires going to the start button or light switch.
Another problem
the 4 wires that come from the gear selector on the right side of machine are not connected and I do not know where they are suppose to go
GEAR SELECTOR WIRES
Red/ White
Green/ White
Blue
Grey/ white
Would these being disconnected stop all power from going anywhere? (I am doubtful)
I am hoping someone can tell me where the wires are suppose to go (schematic?)
HELP!!
Thanks

570 Utility Auxiliary Switch LED ?
Just picked up a new 570 utility edition. Already has an aux switch installed with a wire running to the rear for like a sprayer or some powered implement. I don’t really have a use for that so i was thinking of re routing the wire and using it for a front facing led light bar. Has anyone else done this ? The connector on the end is like a battery tender type.

2018 570 Dual A-Arm Lift kit??
Hi all,
New to polaris and just bought this 2018 leftover. I have had many many dirt bikes and street bikes over the years, but only one quad, a late 1980's vintage Yamaha Big Bear 350 that I use mostly for plowing. Well this spring the frame broke at the footpeg on the poor old big bear so I began looking for a replacement. After being astounded at what a used 4x4 atv quad goes for with a plow I decided to bite the bullet and buy a new one with a plow. After looking around a bit I stumbled upon the ACE lineup and thought that it might be nice to plow behind a windscreen and with a roof and possibly some doors! I was lucky to find a good deal on a leftover and brought it home a couple weeks ago. Still getting used to this whole CVT thing, a bit unnerving to listen to the engine drone away like that, but I suppose I will get used to it. So anyway, my neighbor has a sportsman 500 and when I got it he was intrigued by the ACE and said let's go try it on the powerlines behind our house, which I would never be interested in doing on my big bear, but I love it on my dirt bikes.
So anyway, first time out I smashed the winch cover off on a protruding rock. The neighbor suggested I look into a lift kit to get it a little higher up in the air. I looked around and only found kits for the McPherson strut machines, but nothing for the dual A-Arm machines. Does anyone know of a reputable company that makes a kit for the dual A-Arm machines?
Also, if I can ask another question, since I am still a little skittish about the CVT tranny and belt, is it worth getting one of those infra-red belt temp gauges? Any other mods that people think are worthwhile (e.g. ECU remap, clutch kit, etc)? Want to make it last longer, not necessarily any faster.
Thanks for any help!

Education needed – Rings, bore, overhaul
Ok, so noticed last summer that the Hawkeye was puffing blue smoke, so it's time to give it some TLC and do a top end rebuild, at least I think that's the issue without doing more digging. Obviously I'll be doing more research before any purchase are made.
Since I'd rather not drop the coin on finding a 400 to upgrade, and I'm going to be tearing down anyway, is there an advantage in getting an over bore kit? and what pitfalls should I lookout for in the process?
It's been 20+ Years since I've torn a motor down of any size so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Glad I bought my 2018 before Jan 1st
Just saw that the rebates on the 2019 sportsman models are $300 and the financing rates are 3.99% for 36 mos now. Glad I got my 2018 leftover last week.
1996 Magnum 425 Electrical Dead
I'm a new owner and just traded for a 96 Magnum 425 and now have absolutely no electrical. Back story, I pulled it in the garage and dumped the old stinky fuel and replaced part of the fuel lines. I had put a charge on the existing battery and it turned over. Pulled the battery to find out that half the cylinders were dry, added distilled water and put a full charge on it. Reinstalled it and now the electrical system is totally dead. I have 12v on both sides of the solenoid but no lights, starter button doesn't energize the starter. The ignition key seems to do absolutely nothing. I've been looking at the electrical and was wondering if I kicked the circuit breaker coming off the battery. Would this cause the entire electrical system to be dead? I was an electrician in the navy in the 60's so I can read and follow a electrical schematic with no problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
