500 doesn’t run right

Just about when you think you know. You don't. 1999 Big Boss 500
I have ruled out the carb, filter, pump, lines, petcock. I have bottle fed the carb. I changed carbs. I gave it more idle jet adjustment to 2.75 turns
The plug looks lean with a white tip and dry.

I checked out the cam assy. A compression test shows 100#

The motor starts with the choke on but runs like krap. Backfires stumbles quits. After the motor warms up it runs better.

Where to look next?

thanks

Red loctite on secondary bolt

I’m planning on putting a dalton clutch kit on my 570 and I heard people putting red loctite on new stretch bolt. anyone have any experience with this or should I just use blue loctite

Oil Change question

Hey everyone just gearing up to do the engine oil on this 2000 Sportsman 500 and from reading all the posts in here the consensus is to use the Mobil 1 0W40 and a Napa Gold filter combo.

But before I do one last question before going out and purchasing this stuff, I live in a crazy climate swing area from minus 30 to plus 30 deg C.

Should I stay with this oil change combo?

Thanks again everyone this place is awesome and full of amazing info.

Cheers

Do I need wheel spacers?

Hello! I have a 2015 outlander 500 everything stock. I am looking for new tires and was wondering if I would need wheel spacers. The stock tires I have now are 26x8x12 and 26x10x12, I am looking at some that are 26x10x12 and 26x12x12 so two inches wider on front and back than I have now. Would I need spacers or anything if I went with that size?
