hi new to forum i own a 1995 polaris trailboss 250 2x4 and i recently replaced the starter on it and now it has low spark. It was working fine before i replaced the starter. when i took off the flywheel the magnets were not glued in place but worked fine so i glued them back in and installed it back then it no longer would start. what could be the problem?
Fishing Rod Tube Holder
I did a quick search but I didn't see much posted in regards to transporting fishing rods on ATVs. I am looking for ideas to transport our fishing rods down some of the backroads. Currently we just bungee cord the tube down but I was thinking it would be nice to have a sturdy bracket or clamp instead secured to the storage lid.
I really like these quick release clamps (pictured), it would allow me the option to remove the entire tube with ease. I just can't find them locally or even the right size.
The alternative is just a couple of u-bolts but they aren't as practical for removing unless I replace the nuts with wing nuts.
Any other backroad ATV fishermen/women? What do you do?

“HOT” light came on while riding in the snow
Finally got a decent snowfall here in WI on New Years Eve so i decided to pull my son and a few neighbor kids around on sleds.
The temp was around 20deg with about 5in on the ground. Was driving maybe 40 minutes and i noticed the HOT light came on. It may have come on sooner, but i never thought to look at and just happend to notice it when i looked down to turn the key off. I checked and the fan was on and i did not see anything leaking and the resevoir was sitting still at the max line like it usually is.
This is the most i've driven this wheeler since i purchased it.
Where do i start with diagnosing what's going on?

2019 ITC throttle total CRAP
Hello all, I am currently typing this message with my left hand because my 2019 outlander decided to apply full throttle all by itself. The front end came up and threw me off unexpectedly and the atv sped away unoccupied. . When i put my arm out to break my fall it broke into three pieces.
CANAM has really done it now with its introduction to throttle by wire. now, instead of a throttle cable from the thumb lever to the throttle body, a computer must interpret my command using a thumb sensor and then control a servo motor in the throttle body. it sounds cool but it is not a fail safe system. i will be off work now for twelve weeks.
i have been riding atv's all my life and own several. under the circumstances i was noT in any technical situation. i was just riding slow with my kids in an open field.
I PREDICT A RECALL ON THIS NEW PRODUCT!!!!!!!!!!!CANAM FAIL!!!!!!!

2019 Sportsman 570 Utility
My first ATV. Just wasn’t getting enough use out of the sled.
Took it for my first ride yesterday. Much smoother ride than I expected, that’s good.
Towards the end of my ride I decided to hit some 12” deep puddles at a higher rate of speed. Was fun but I sucked a little water in through the intake. Didn’t fully kill the engine, kept her running so I limped it the short distance home.
So I know I got some relatively clean water through the intake. Judging by the muddy prints inside the box I think my box drain is letting some blow in as well. Most likely throughout the entire ride. Not a great drain plug design. Loose fit, very soft rubber. Might hold static water but spraying water has considerable force.
A rubber cork from the inside would be a better upgrade :)
Any more professional upgrades? There’s not much room underneath the box for most upgrades I see on the web.
As for the intake I’m not looking for snorkels at this time. I prefer my vision unobstructed. Gotta wonder why Polaris doesn’t do a 180 with the intake and have it facing backwards. Would think that would help some without losing the height.
Also, what pressure are you rock guys putting in your front tires? I can feel the tire compress enough to hit the rim on a few occasions. It has Bear Claws if that helps.
Top speed of 50 + or - is a little disappointing but I knew it was geared down. Most of my riding is more technical than wide open anyway :)
If I figure out how to post a pic of airbox with Apple I’ll do so. Thanks folks.
