Hello Polaris forums, I am new here :)
I have 2014 Polaris Sportsman 850 EPS w/ ADC. Last week I went to drain/fill (change) the ADC fluid and I accidently torqued the right valve too much (since there are two valves on the front differential case). Anyway, I noticed that it started to turn more as I tightened it and boom, it was stripped. So I rode it a few times and it turned out that it is leaking. My only options now are to try some of that pipe tape that is used to prevent leaks in pipes, re-drill the hole or (my most disliked option) is to buy a new case. I am somewhat lost on what to do. I have known for a while that Polaris is easy to strip out as I have ruined many drain plug heads in the past from my own ignorance. Yet, this time, I am unsure if even drilling out the hole would result in a bad case and having to take apart the entire thing to stop metal shards from getting in.
Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thank you
