Hello trying to figure out why i have no power on my 01 sportsman 500 ho have battery in and turn key on and push the run switch over n no power lights don't like up nothing brand new battery brand new start and solenoid and brand new key switch. It does have a winch on it that was installed from the dealer when the first owner bought machine. But the winch should have nothing to do with it starting should it? The winch didn't work when i got machine i think the winch solenoid is bad. Is there any fuses or anything that would cause it to not have power i know if the hi low run switch unit is bad then that could be why but just wondering if there is anything else the hi beam switch was acting up like the hi beam would come on randomly or not come on at all the run switch though never acted up it was working fine now i get no power. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Difficult To Start At High Altitude-2013 Commander 1000
I have a 2013 Can Am Commander 1000. I live at around 2500 ft and it runs fine here. When go to higher elevations, 6000-8000+ ft, it is difficult to start and keep running. It often takes several tries to turn over. Then when it starts, the RPMs jump up and down, the throttle is not responsive, and it dies. After several tries, the throttle will begin to be slightly responsive and I am able to hold it at a higher RPM until it warms up and then it will run fine. It will continue to run fine until it sits and cools off. Then it will do the same thing all over again. It does this in both the summer and winter but it is much harder to get going when it is cold outside.
I have changed the spark plugs and fuel pump but neither have helped.
I would appreciate any help or ideas that anyone has to offer.
Thank you.

Would someone be kind enough to tell me the voltage I should get at the hub for the AWD? AWD alight is on, armature plate sticks to hub but no AWD.
Yoshi pipe repacking
Hey guys,
So I’ve had my yoshi pipe for a little over a year now. They say to re-pack like every 10-15 hours or something ridiculous like that- i didn’t. Seems to me it’s sounding slightly different now so I’m gonna re pack it. My question is has anyone used other packing other than the yoshi branded BrP kit on their yoshi pipe?
They want like 120$ Canadian for that. Any info advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

My Barn Find Polaris
New here but have owned a few ATV’S in the past. Just sold a questionable 2005 500 Sportsman.
Came across this one yesterday. A 2014 Sportsman 400 H.O. with 28 miles and 8 hours on it. I’m beyond satisfied. Still has the nuns on the tires. Many questions to follow but thanks in advance.

ITP Cryptid tire questions
Hello,
Just wondering how ITP cryptid tires handle on trails? How about an occasional trip down a paved road. Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks

2019 can am xmr 1000 questions
Hello all,
Thinking of purchasing a 2019 can am xmr 1000. Can anyone who has one give me a little insight into the changes? Does the suspension changes make a big difference in the ride? The newer fox shocks with the front sway bar and redesigned A arms. How about the ITP Cryptid tires? Does it drive and handle better than past models. I know it is not an XTp but I would like to also use it to trail ride too. Is it worth purchasing vs buying a xtp and relocating the rad and adding larger tires and a clutch kit?
Thanks
Pete
