04 Outlander 400 4x4xt

I'm not to sure what to do with my older model. I've tried to trade It in to local dealers, I was just planning on plowing this year but I'm having another issue with it and at this point I just want a newer one. Have dumped to much money into this one and it's not worth it anymore. I'm pretty sure it's the idle air control valve. Any suggestions on getting some $$$ for it? To get something a little more recent.

Ujoint/wheel bearings

Hey guys, my 2015 800r xmr finaly is requiring some replacement parts. I need to replace both front wheel bearings as well as the prop shaft ujoints. I looked on ebay and on amazon but cant pinpoint the exact part. Does anyone know the part numbers? Im not looking to buy OEM. Im fine with a good aftermarket

Oil change, outlander

Just joined this group as I picked up an old, 06, Outlander 400 Max. Bike will be parked til the end of sled season, late April, and will be doing a full fluid change on it. Noticed that the oil change kit that BRP sells has 2 O rings and a washer. One O ring will be for the filter housing, but what is the other one for? Will probably pick up a couple of O rings to use in case one gets damaged but not planning on changing them every time.

Left side front axle has some slip, not the U joint ? Help

Ok I noticed tonight while greasing all the fittings that the front left side axle has some slip in it, not a lot .
The movement is not the joint and it’s not the shaft coming out of the front diff... it’s the yolk where it meets the splines in the shaft coming out of the diff.
Is there a set screw to hold the yolk tight to the shaft ?
If you grab the axle and pull it up and down you can see the yolk is a little sloppy on the shaft.
Seems like it’s only in one position.. so if it slips at 12:00 and 6:00 it doesn’t at 3 and 9... but if you rotate it then it’s at 3 and 8 and not at 12 and 6
Is this something you guys have seen before or am I being too anal

Cargo Racks for 2018 Polaris Sportsman 570 SP

As you all know, the composite Lock-N-Ride decking that comes on the Polaris Sportsman is troublesome to add extended cargo racks. I have a few questions:

Has anyone found and used a rear rack that is designed for the Sportsman? Not universal - but that the rack is wrapped around the seat and not over the top of it and is easily attached? I don’t care if it uses the Lock-N-Ride tie-downs, bolts and nuts or zip strips.

Has anyone found either a drop box or raised box that will hold milk crates (13 x 13) much like the common 3 x 5-gallon buckets?

Has anyone been stopped by the police or Conservation Officers obscured taillights because of their drop box?

I have about a mile to the lake for ice fishing and, so far, I have been pulling a cart behind me. It is cumbersome and rattles a lot. I can get all my gear on the ATV if I get my racks squared away.

Thanks all.

What is it?

So starting into the routine on my '04 Sportsman 400 and found the item (pictured) loose up under the right fender. Looks like a belt. About 1-1/4" wide. Any thoughts?

Is there away to adjust the shifter at all? I’m new to the Polaris world, any help would be appreciated very much friends thanks!!
