26 vs stock 27 viper vs 28 for 1000 xp

loved 26 bighorns on my 13 850xp. got a 2018 1000 sportsman earlier this year and deciding between 26 inch OG bighorns, 27 inch maxis viper or 28 inch bighorn 2's. ride in california mostly rocks, gravel and soft soil . all would be mounted on a sti hd3 wheel

would 28 inch Big Horn 2.0 s be best for those 3 for a stock 1000 sportsman ? or am i better off with the 27 inch viper { stock but looks the same size as my 26 inch big horn original} thought read that the big horn 2.0's are lighter

Engine Swap

1995 Polaris Explorer 400cc 2 stroke vs a 1998-2000 Polaris Sport 400cc Question is can I swap the two engines, my 1995 Explorer has locked up and found another 400 engine which is the sport, also does the clutches match up as well?

800X2 with 3500lb winch need repair info

The factory 3500lb winch on my 2007 800X2 needs repair. I overloaded it and it just quit pulling, the motor still runs fine but doesn't have the power to pull the loose cable back in. I can't find anything on repairing the winch, everything I do find is electrical and this is a mechanical problem.

Glacier plow system question

Hey guys looking at buying a glacier plow setup for a wicked deal second hand but theres an issue, the plow I'm looking at buying came off an 05 sportsman. Mine is a 2017 570. Will I be able to make it fit or will it be to much f*cking around to get it to even work?

Ignition troubles 2009 400 Sportsman

I have a 2009 sportsman that has an electrical issue. It seems that there is no power at the ignition switch and the bike will not start. The main power was working and you could see the gears, lights would work but wouldn't start. Pull rope now is stuck and won't pull out.

1994 Polaris 300 4X4 no spark HELP

I am new to the forum so please be gentle and if I am posting in the wrong area please tell me and let me know where I should post this.
I did some trading for this bike and was lied to about it running when these people got it. There are things on it that show it has not ran it a very long time.
It is a 1994 Polaris 300 4X4 W948130 with no spark. I have read the post here, watched the youtube videos and I'm usually a petty good mechanic but this one has me stumped.
I have replaced the stator components (the charging coil and the exciter coil but not the plate they bolt on to) new CDI and three different new coils. I checked the magnets inside the flywheel because one of them looked replaced. They all had good pull on a screwdriver (the way you use to check the ones in a outboard motor) and were orientated north, south, north, south as they should be.
If you unplug the exciter coil plug (blk/r, brn/w, w) White shows good continuity to ground. Blk/r to ground shows no continuity and about 4vac cranking. brn/w to ground shows no continuity and about 4vac cranking. blk/r to brn/w cranking shows initial surge around 28 vac then drops to a steady 13 vac. Cranking speed is with plug removed to get a better crank speed and less strain on the starter and battery.
Unplugging the CDI to coil wire (blu) there is no ground continuity and output is 13vac.
Coil input shows 13vac but there is no output to the spark plug. The plug wire has good continuity and so does the plug cap.
All resistance test on new components were within specks and all test were done with the black wire from the CDI disconnected. All continuity checks from battery negative to frame or engine, and frame to engine show good.
Reviewing some of the youtube videos they show 80 to 100 vac being sent from the exciter coil to the CDI???

2018 850 exhaust.

Been searching around for a decent slip on for my outlander 850. I am down to 3 choices and wanted to see what others opinions are on them.
Looney tuned, yoshi and hmf are the 3 that i have been looking at. Wish muzzy was still around because i wouldn't even make this thread....

850 sportsman xp 2012 looseness on the shaft

Hi all.
This is my first post in this forum. I am from Poland and my English is averge but I will try :)
So, Im going to buy Polaris 850 sportsman xp. I got my eye on one piece. But It got a little problem with looseness on the shaft between gearbox and front axle. I can twist it around 20 degrees.
While draving I I heard knocks from this place (when I added and subtracted gas)
It can be a serious problem?
do you have a similar problem?
