First I would like to apologize if this post is in the wrong spot, please disregard if it is. But any way hello, I’m new to this forum as well to the off-road world. I’ve always looked at atvs but never had the money to spend. Recently I’ve been looking at the outlander xmr 570. I saw one used the other day online and when I contacted the dealer it had sold. I’m now looking at buying a new one. The place I’m looking to purchase from gives all sorts of money off and rebates due to them having a discount program threw the company I work for. I plan on using the money I get off toward a plow and a couple of other accesories. I’m just wondering what kind of bill I’m gonna be hit with when I go to sign on the dotted line. Base price is 8700 + the accessories. Then I know there’s a shipping cost, a registration cost, Then I know there’s a dealer mark up. And is there any other fees that I can be expecting?
98 scrambler 400 Idle adjust
So finished the head gasket replace and now runs good without losing antifreeze but after it warms up the idle is just a tad too low and it wants to stall , I see 2 screws on the right side of the carb - a small air screw and a larger knob in front of it . Which one adjusts the idle speed ? and which way does it turn to raise the idle

Better oil seals for rear diff??
The infamous rear pinion seal is leaking on the nuclear banana.. I know and understand this is the nature of beast, especially with mud riding. I would like to know if anyone has found any seals that are better or last longer, double lipped, triple lipped or can withstand higher temps. $40 for an oem seal and wear ring is alright if it lasts.
I’ll be purchasing some solid motor mounts here soon too, to help out that rear drive line stay solid.

Predator 90 04 gearcase oil?
Hi!
Newbie here! Great forum and now after buying second Polaris ATV (Predator 90) decided to join you guys and girls.
Can someone advice me with Predator 90 (04) gearcase oil. Manual says I should use Polaris PN2873602. Couldn't find it anywhere so tried to find alternative product but without success. Amsoil product are not available here where I live.
I found one topic that says:
"could use PN2878068"
..but it seems that this product is also discontinued.
Any tips what to do?

2013 sportsman 500 front gearcase fill plug location
Hi,
New to the site and someone may have allready asked the question, but where is the fill plug on a 2013 500 awd sportsman.I found the drain plug and the Polaris manual said it's on the right side front, but either I am blind or looking right at it ? I had no problem with the engine oil and transmission oil,but the front diff is giving me fits. Thanks for all and any help. Bob

New to the site looking for some help
So I bought a 2017 sportsman xp1000 and it’s been nothing but problems. So the other night I started the quad and went to go drive it into to the barn and heard a big snap when i hit the throttle and the quad would not move. Long story short is I have the transmission pulled because the main shaft that goes into the the fly wheel snapped in half and now I have no power to the tranny. Is this a common issue with these quads? It has 28 inch tires on it with and about 600 miles . Is this going to be an easy fix or is there something I can change to make this stronger? Any help would be appreciated
Hitch Cargo Carrier or Trailer
Hey all..
Going to start using my 570 for hunting.. Need to get stand and stuff out to the site... Site is in a national forest with established trails... Also need to transport deer etc out. Max miles each way is probably 3-4..
Will one of those Harbor Freight or similar cargo carriers work or will it put to much weight/torque on the back end of the machine? Alternately I was thinking maybe one of those smaller dump trailers like you haul behind riding mowers..
I'm thinking the carrier would be a lot less hassle to fool with but dont wanna be doing something dangerous..
Thanks in advance!

Ecu reflashed
Ok guys and girls, so I sent out my ecu to wick it performance .To have it customized, Now they do all the reflashing for monster in Canada but this way you dont have to send it across the boarder if your in the states. First thing is the guys there are really awesome to deal with and the service is excellent. So they did there magic to it and sent it back in no time. After I installed it I drained all the 89 octane fuel and put a tank of 93 in it. Fire it off and man just that instant I knew it was a whole lot meaner.so I let it sit and idle for about 10 min to warm up, hoped on and holy cow what an amazing night and day difference in throttle response and power. Now I have just made an appointment to have it dyno tuned to dial in the afr and make sure we are all set to burn the trails up. But I just want to say it's a highly recommend mod. And I would definitely recommend wick it performance, for sure.
