Winter Camping!!

Hello All!

I am looking forward to getting set up for winter camping with the quad on tracks!! I don't think there is a machine out there with more potential for extended winter trips!

Here is my gear so far. I am looking for suggestions (based on experience if possible). Have I gone wrong somewhere. I bring a lot of gear but also enjoy a very comfortable camp!!
1. Sled pulled behind Quad
2. small wall tent and frame
3. small cot
4. small wood stove
5. Chainsaw Axe
6. General camping gear (sleeping bag, food, etc.)
7. Snowshoes

I got a real lesson last year when I got stuck badly and had to walk out to the road. The snow was extremelly deep and I had no snowshoes. It was an almost impossible task even though it was a short distance. I have included a photo for reference. My buddies feet are not on the ground in the photo. At least 5 feet of powder. We were still ok with two on the quad.

Aluma Trailer Question (MC2F)

Anyone own an Aluma MC2F trailer and use it to transport your ATV or even SxS? I'm looking into getting one since I need a smaller trailer than my 14' in which I will use to transport my Supermoto, Sportsman, and RZR 570 (obviously not all at once). I have them stored at an offsite location, not at home. However, when I need to work on them or do whatever I need to do, I don't want to lug the 14' trailer around when I don't really need to. So, this Aluma is foldable and and takes ups much less space along with it being easy to work with and not such a PITA. Plus, the Aluma can be used to transport anyone of them if I want to take a trip somewhere and not use the 14'.

My biggest question is if anyone has experience with this particular trailer and what you use it for. I know that my Supermoto or dirtbike will fit without a hitch since the trailer is made for bikes. I'm more concerned with the Sportsman or RZR 570. Even though 2000# is the limit, I'm more concerned with them fitting on the deck. Let me know your thoughts or experiences with this trailer if you have any. Thank you.

2007 sportsman 500 efi gas gauge issue

Can anyone tell me if I can disconnect wiring to my electronic gas gauge in my display. Looking for a cheap fix to stop flashing needle and low fuel warning. I can manually check gas as machine is only used for hunting. Thanks for any advice

330 start issue I’m stumped!!!

To all,

I have searched the forums and I have a lot of small engine experience but I am just stumped because I can't figure out the problem. I replaced my old worn out 330 magnum carb with a Caltric $41 carb that had great reviews on amazon. As soon as I put it on it ran great with the air filter lid off (a little rich with it on). Started great and ran great throughout the entire rpm range. All of the sudden it wouldn't start and will fire once or twice but will never run. I've tried choke, throttle, starter fluid it will work for a second. I've cleaned the brand new carb thoroughly, it has great spark, 65 compression. I've done all I can think of and it still just fires once or twice and shuts off. Any ideas would be appreciated!!! I have the carb off again to try to clean because I feel that it has to be a gas issue. Thank y'all!!

Hi Y’all!

Just joined and decided to say hello to everyone. I've owned ATVs and MX in the past but this is my first Can Am. Looking for some great info on the Outlander 1000XT. Since I've bought the ATV, I've added rear hitch, front hitch, Warn Wireless Remote and the Flex Plow. I have to say that Can Am has some of the crappiest instructions for items. It took almost 12 hours to install the plow but it's done and it probably won't even snow this year because I bought it.

Looking forward to learning and joining the conversations.

Which carb and line setup for 05 700 sportsman

So for the 05 sportsman 700 I completely rebuilt the carb and am still having issues with fuel out the overflow.

Firs I'm wondering if it's supposed to be an mv7 carb which is currently looks to be in it or if it's the bst34. Or does it not matter.

2nd how are the fuel lines supposed to be setup. It currently has from the pump the line to the tank 2 way. Line to the carb intake nub. And a line to the engine head body. On the pump I know the lines are good but not for sure on the atv.
