Trying to figure out what looks to be a carb problem. Mikuni BST34.

Symptoms: When cold, engine starts immediately. Let it run for a while (anywhere from 30 seconds to 10 minutes) and the motor dies. Will not restart. Let is set for a while (an hour) and it starts immediately.

Have taken carb apart and cleaned everything, running thin wire thru the jets. Followed service manual (terrible index) to set carb to spec. That did not help. And when running and revved up, for a bit I could see small amounts of fuel coming out bottom of bowl although I could not see exactly where from.

Latebird suggested elsewhere that I should check the floats to make sure EtOH-containing fuel did not damage them. One does look a little weird. So ... and here's the rant ... I called the Polaris dealer and asked about floats. $75. WTF!? I had just bought a float bowl gasket (not needed) that must have cost about 25 cents to produce for which I paid ... $20!

Question: Where can I get reasonably priced parts, especially floats? Please name a company/website.

Question: Where can I find part numbers so I can determine if things for sale on eBay elsewhere) might work.

My 2004 Sportsman 700 leaks fuel out of the carburetor overflow when you give it throttle. I rebuilt the carburetor and same thing. I REPLACED the carburetor and it still overflows when giving it throttle. What is going on?

Secondary question: The digital display on my 2015 Sportsman ETX no longer works. I plugged it into my friends 570 and got nothing so it is definitely the speedometer/guage pod that is not working. Are those things serviceable or just replace?

In need of info. I have an 04 polaris sportsman 400 and I bought a glacier plow gen 1 for it. Not knowing that there was suppose to be a mounting plate for it. Found out that the mounting plate has been discontinued. I have the part #. But no luck anywhere. Anyone have any suggestions. Part #2874774

Alright , I'm being lazy .
Anyone know the torque spec for the primary bolt on the G-1 500's ?
For some reason 74 keeps ringing in my head .....

I have replaced the fuel pump, plugs, rubber carb adapter and rebuilt the carb. Went through the carb with fine tooth comb and found no dirt or any problems. Starts fine, idles fine and runs up to about half throttle then just acts like a governor is kicking in. It is charging fine. I checked compression and it is fine. I know these are notorious for ignition problems and i am considering a RM Stator ac to dc ignition kit but just need to be sure it will fix it as it cost $250. Any ides that i have not covered?

Gotta allot of things figgered , but these vaccum hoses from frame and tranny and airbox is a bit , hit n miss and I've had enuff misses , any assistance would really b appreciated , somebody took this thing apart and ran away I think ? Does this airbox cover need to be on for correct running

2016 570 touring,

started with a completely dead battery. Boosted it ran great and even restarted on its own for the last run aprx 60kms. Washed and parked the machine. 1 day later checked and battery was completely dead again. Inspected stator, voltage regulator harness and no chaffing or exposed wires. Im going to check for a draw tonight. Im leaning towards the voltage regulator based on some basic research. Has anyone dealt with this issue? I installed a new AGM the day after the second occurrence and it went dead after a couple days:crying. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also does anyone have a PDF link for the repair manual on this machine?
