2015 Outlander 800, 500 miles on it. Just bought it used. Really looked new when I got it. Just did the 100 Hr maintenance (only had 76 hrs on it) at dealer $639 worth. Has annoying squeal in neutral and park and when cruising. Squeal goes away in gear and just idling but returns louder as you accelerate and cruise. It definitely is coming from the clutch drive belt area.
I had put a Gates Belt on it, dealer Tech told me to use only OEM Can Am belts the others can damage the clutch plates. He replaced it with a Can Am belt. This sounds like hog wash to me. Any advise would be appreciated
I have a 2000 Polaris Xplorer 250 vin number 4xaag25c0y2152978. I recently changed the 2-cycle engine oil to yamalube, since then every time I start the quad a lot of white smoke fills the air. It lost power and the smoking does not stop. It may be coincidence or not. Who can tell me what is wrong with her. Should I change the oil? what is the best 2 cycle oil for Polaris? Is there a problem with the carburetor? Please someone help me. I want to use my quad and I can't, Thanks.

I have a 2008 Polaris 500 HO that throttles up whenever I turn to the left or to the right. When I straighten out the handle bars, the throttle goes back to normal.
I tried swapped out the throttle cable, but the original moves easily and replacing it didn't fix the issue. My guess is that I have not routed the cable properly, but I just cannot find the right route. It isn't related to the choke cable, as I can grab that one and move it all over without the rpms changing.
If anyone would be able to give me a description, or even better, pictures of the throttle cable routing for my quad or one with the same routing design, I'd greatly appreciate it.

When I first start the bike it wants to die even with the choke on and takes over 5 min to warm up enough to stay idling. If I rev the engine I also get a crackling popping sound from the exhaust, not a smooth rpm let down. same if I'm riding and let off the throttle it sounds like crap. I know I have to replace the donut exhaust gasket since it's getting louder from the front exhaust connection. Could it be from the exhaust or do I need a carb clean and rebuild? any thoughts? and thank you in advance for tips.
Been thinking about getting a plow installed for this winter and was leaning towards this Kimpex plow setup...Can anyone who has this system installed give me some feedback on there experience with it....Build quality, design flaws etc.:smile

I just finished installing the Brp Yoshi exhaust.
My question is, how hot does the muffler tip get? It’s seems pretty close to the regulator even with the regulator relocation bracket.
Should I be concerned?
The instructions are so difficult to follow so I had to “wing it”!
Also don’t have a fuel controller or tuner. We’ll see how it is without it for now.
Just started it up and idle for a few seconds, this Yoshi is much loader than stock and has a deep rumble....love it!
So, I just put these wheels and tires on. I had the same on my 09 500 and ran the dalton kit. The 09 was totalled a few years ago when I was hit by a car. I replaced it with the 11 but left the stock wheels and tires on it until now. I liked the way the 09 worked with the dalton kit but my uses have changed since I totalled it. Basically just use it for hunting which requires running through some mud holes and trail riding. Other then that I push race cars on and off the track and putt around the pits. Would the dalton kit for the 650 work alright for my riding habits or is there something else I should look at?
The stock set up seems to smoke belts just for fun with the stock wheels and tires. Tried stock, Dayco, and Gates. The Gates seems to hold up a bit better.
Just looking for something thats going to give a more solid riding experience. Cant do much about smoking belts when im pushing cars around.

Moved to an acreage in the Edmonton Alberta area a while ago and decided that the atv would be more practical around our land than the 2017 Maverick DS side x side we had.

Hi i have already posted but got no replies but i could be reading it wrong. I JUST got a 2003 Polaris sportsman 400 and this id all the spprdometer/guage will do..look at pic?? I dont even know where to start. Does it need maybe some sort of relay?? My yellow button wont even change the screen??
