New member with problem. Fuel?

Hoping someone here can help me out with my quad. 2006 Sportsman 700 EFI. Love the machine and use it often to maintain my mountain property. Will upload photos later.

Just had fuel pump replaced for the second time but quad still stalls out after half hour or so of use. Let it sit for a few minutes and it fires up again. Could it be the fuel filter? Mechanic said he had never seen such a dirty tank and there were brass shavings in the sludge. Old pump destroying itself?

Hello

Just bought a 2017 570 sp all matte black. Polaris front winch, polaris front guard, polaris rear guard, Polaris rear storage box.
Has many accessories but here are some things I want to add. I know you are all EXPERTS and this is my first ATV so any help is greatly appreciated.

1- Add rear back up lights for plowing and night use, as I will need to see behind me. I have heard that I can switch out my factory lenses and use polaris lenses with clear panel but that seems like alot of money just to get a small panel and wont put out much rear light. Maybe add on small LEDs that can hook to my back up switch. What do you recommend?

2- Plow. I need a plow, I just need a smaller unit, maybe 50" but I want ease of off/on connection. Warn, Polaris or something else? I will also use it for light work of pushing some dirt. I know Polaris is More $$ but is it worth it and better for machine due to frame connection ease?

2- Front additional LED light panel. Due to plowing I would like to add a LED for additional night use. Recommendations for something that can mount easily and hook up to my factory harness as I am not knowledgeable of detailed wiring issues.

THANK YOU for all your help everyone and I look forward to learning from all of you.

Strong Possibility…?

The Scrammy may finds itself down the road.
Since a service that proved to be very costly, I’ve wondered if the Scrambler 1K was the right bike for me and my riding style.
I’ve gone back and forth on sending her packing and stepping into more of a sport quad.
While browsing around on CL today I found that a local dealer had a 12’ KFX450R, a very clean one at that.
I inquired about the bike and have since provided a lengthy email on the condition of my bike along with all the extras that are on it.
If they match my terms, odds are I’ll be back on a green bike.
If my terms aren’t met I won’t be disappointed as I still feel I’ve got one bad sob sitting in my garage!

Super cheap and easy Steering arm upgrade

the postage from US to New Zealand is insane, a set of upgraded steering arms goes from 140usd to 350nzd after postage!

But I like making stuff.... and I'm sick of bending arms!

4mm wall 5052 alloy cut to perfect length slightly crushed in.

I guess the steering will bend somewhere else from now on [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

What do you guys think?

Hi...new to the forum. I my 2013 gade 1k runs great. It has about 3600 miles and on my last 2 rides it threw me for a loop. It runs great and performs normal accept twice now when I reach high speeds like 75 plus and let out of the throttle it wines or grinds. The first time I thought I blew my new gates c12 and just coasted to a stop but I hit throttle and it drove normal. I continued to ride for at least an hour, pulling wheelies, sliding, and cruising. It ran great but I never hit 70 plus again. A few days later I was runnin hard 70 to 75 and when I let off the throttle it wined or grinded again but this time instead of coasting to a stop, I got back in the throttle. It stopped as soon as I got back in the throttle. The first time when I coasted to a stop it grinded all the way to stop. Almost sounds like the ribs on the gates c12 were in the cover or maby the transmission or gearbox was bt gears. Could it b a engine break problem, primary clutch, or gearbox? I'm stumped

Outlander rear suspension stiff

I have a 2015 outlander 800xt. It has the high lifter 2” lift kit, the rear shocks now will push down about 3 inches when I put my weight on them, but it will not physically return back up without me pulling back up on the atv. I bought a set of stage 3 Elka’s thinking it was just worn out factory shocks but even the Elka’s will not return back up without me pulling up on it. Any ideas what could be causing this? John IIkiw with Elka said it could be a bad set of shock bearings they recieved from their supplier.
