Ok, new to the ATV world and just bought a 450 Outlander L a month or so ago. I have 2 questions that hopefully someone that has experienced the issues can answer.

1. On startup, cold or warm, for a couple of seconds the motor is much louder than normal idle. Bought this at a dealer and they said it's normal. Doesn't sound normal to me.

2. On normal riding i'm a pretty loud "clack" (is the best way I can describe it). I cannot force this sound with accel/decel, hitting a bump, steering in either direction, 2WD vs 4WD, nor anything else i've tried. It just happens randomly to me and it's loud enough someone riding behind me can hear it. I've visually inspected shocks, steering components, u joints etc but nothing obvious. It could be happening after bumps as one of the shock is rebounding from compression but not sure.

I can try to provide video with sound for these two things if it's not obvious to the experienced owners here.

Just bought my first ATV, a 2015 Outlander L 450. Have been out for a few rides in the woods of New Hampshire and overall, great handling machine with tons of power for the displacement. Already have a bunch of questions so I'm off to the forums.

Just bought my first ATV, a 2015 Outlander L 450. Have been out for a few rides in the woods of New Hampshire and overall, great handling machine with tons of power for the displacement. Already have a bunch of questions so I'm off to the forums.

I have a loading up situation and I have bought two different types of rebuild kits and neither of them have fixed my issue, I even made sure that the float is adjusted right. The one consistent thing about the rebuild kits is the needle seat has half the amount of holes drilled in it then the factory one, I put the new seat in and it wouldn’t rev up it would get to maybe half throttle. I put the original seat in that has twice the amount of holes and it runs like it should, except for after a few days of sitting it won’t start and then detonates in the exhaust. What are those holes in the needle seat for. I’m getting really frustrated with this machine and I’m about to burn it. When it detonates in the pipe it’s like a .45 going off, it even makes my ears deaf for a second and I don’t want to be causing anymore damage to the already rebuild cylinder

I have an opportunity to buy a 2003 330 magnum, with a 60" snow plow and winch. I was wondering if there is anything I should look for while I am checking this quad out and test driving it. Any common wear points or items. Also does anyone know what the value of this quad would be. I don't have a picture to show but it is grey and from what I can tell in very good shape for its year. Any help is appreciated.

Looking at a 2014 Maverick Max with 1500 km and a 2016 Commander Max with 3900 km. Is there something to look into for these machines? Is maintenance pretty easy for a do it yourself?

I’ve owned a 850 xxc before both 2016 any real differences I should know about
The 850 was tuned the 1000xxc will be shortly and yes I have new tires and other little add ons happing as we speak

Hi looking for an 04 sportsman 400 headlight guage pod would like the complete assembly with light guage plastics. Perfer yellow or black but any color for right price. Also if any other years would work for this would be interested. Bought wheeler with broken one tree fell on it nothing salvage able

I was riding my 4wheeler through some trails , it was a little wet and muddy , and was caught in a heavy rain storm , ran fine when i loaded it on the trailer , now i have no power from the battery forward, no lights nothing, was just curious what could be the issue
