I have a new Defender HD8 with the polycarbonate, hard-coated flip windshield. I want to put some type of rain repellent on the windshield. What works for you? Don't want to create haze or discoloration on the windshield, just want the rain to bead up and roll off.

I am having trouble reading this manual that they have. They never added anything about gear oil box change grease points or any of that. Just the basic oil change on the atv. What do i do on gearbox oil change is that the same as a typical change on a 2017 Can Am 450 sst g2? If anyone could be kind to help me thank you. A few questions.

#1.In the diagnostic mode I have codes 3=clutch modulator valve ,7=Headlight Supply ,8=Accessory Supply and 9=Reference supply output. Is anyone able to tell me the possible causes and solutions?

Another observation is that someone for some reason has connected the headlights to a toggle switch instead of the key switch. And that the wire at one of the headlights is all taped up. Are the headlights normally contolled by the mpem? I am thinking that they were shorted out at some point and may have damaged the Mpem?

#2.In normal mode all the shift lights (2-5) are flashing. 1 is not because it is burnt as it does not light during the 1st diagnostic step. Would they be flashing because the 1 is burnt? Or would it be a fault with the position sensor?
