Okay guys tried to go riding tonight. 07 outlander max 800. New belt new clutches new helix new side cover. Took for a quick five minute spin did great. Then later went to go riding with a buddy in the snow, rode it down the road a few miles and it lost forward gear. Heard what sounded like slapping belt. Wouldn’t go forward in high or low. But would do fine in reverse no irregular noise at all. Took cover off didn’t see any issues. All was tight and looked good. It was half hour later by this time. I put back together , and I had forward gear. But only for 30 seconds if that. Then the slapping continued. Still reverse is fine. My buddy said he saw sparks coming from the center rear end area. But I wonder what could that have been. Left it at his house for the night. Will dive more into it tomorrow. But figured see if you guys had any ideas. It’s a gates carbon belt. Belt looks perfectly fine. At this point I’ve had nothing but issues from this atv. Seems like a curse. I’ll admit it’s a new belt and I didn’t go easy on it. First couple shot rides around my neighborhood I went easy on her. But after that was a higher rpm road ride. I literally am stumped. I have another new belt a gates Kevlar. Maybe will swap them tomorrow and try to limp her home.
Will warn universal plow mount fit on 2001 6×6 sportsman?
Has anyone tried to install a Warn 91810 "Universal" Plow Mount on a 2001 6x6 Sportsman? How'd it work out?
Looking for something to fit my new (old) ATV.
Thanks in advance.

2016 DS90 carb
I have a 2016 DS90, starts hard idles for a bit than dies. Idles fine when warmed up sometimes. When it is idling and you stab the throttle it cuts out and dies unless you let off the throttle. When its on full choke and you stab the throttle it won't cut out. All stock just cleaned carb new fuel filter. Is there somewhere on here that this has been discussed? The screw on the intake side has been adjusted to 1.5 turns

Tire recommendations please
I’m not far from needing some tires
2013 outlander 800r XT max. Currently have 27” big horn originals. I’m wanting a more aggressive tire but not a mud specific tire. I have 12” wheels

Idiot Move
My idiot move recently is to lose the one and only key I had for my Sportsman. Does anyone know if dealer's can make a new key based on VIN or do I have to change the whole switch assembly?
Video – Sportsman 570 TOP SPEED run
Howdy friends,
I had my GoPro running while I did 3 full-throttle to top speed dashes on a ride this past Saturday. This Sportsman belongs to my boss/friend. He bought it used, it has a little over 1000 miles on it, and he wanted me to "test it out"...so I did. I was able to 65mph three times in a row...any additional speed would have taken more space than I had. I am impressed by the pull of the 570. Great power. Steering gets nervous/"twitchy" above 55mph.

GURU BUMPERS FOR 2017-2018 Sportsman 1000
He has started advertising the new bumpers for the 2017 2018 Polaris Sportsman 850-1000. They look awesome and tough as hell. They bolt in 6 spots instead of 4 like the Polaris ones. I recommend going to his site and checking them out for yourself. I have mine on order already, and I already cant wait.:grin
I thought I would put this on here to let people know, I have been watching his site for as long as I have had my 2017 Sportsman 1000 ( roughly 6 months ) for him to make a bumper for these machines, I am glad I waited.
I posted a couple of pictures he sent me, enjoy.

2000 Polaris Explorer 250 electrical problems
Hello,
I have a 2000 polaris explorer 250 2 stroke. The lights and starter went dead and a clicking clicking sound started coming from the circuit breaker that has a rubber boot covering it to the left of the solenoid. It clicks intermittently while the light comes off and on now and then. I checked all of the wires and put in a new battery and key ignition, plus left handlebar switch for lights and starter, plus a new relay and it is still the same. I noticed that the key ignition was heating where it plugs in.I checked the plug too and it is O.K..The entire wiring harness looks fine I went over every bit of it.It still clicks the same.I don't think I will ever be able to fix it.I already have massive hours into it and alot of money. But it still starts with the pullstart and runs good. I am not sure if the fan works. Probably not but I donot know.

Vin #
I was told the expedition 425 I just purchased was a 2002. So I bought the manual online for a 2002. After I got the manual and did a little research I think it’s actually a 2000 someone on here informed me and the book says 10th digit of Vin is the model year. My 10th digit is a Y. Would this be a 2000 or 2002? If so I have the wrong size wheels on here also
