So i read so many posts on here about making sure you pull apart your 1-way bearing to clean and re-grease it due to it being only sealed on one side and lack of grease from the factory. I was debating on buying new bearings to put in but decided if i have to repack them every year or so it would not be so bad. However i took my 1-way apart today and i didnt loose the springs or cups... thats a win for me.. i pulled the bearings out and they are sealed on BOTH sides. Did they make a change on the g2 or at some point on some models i wounder ? I still pulled the seals out and repacked them because there did not appear to be allot of grease. I was happy to see they are sealed on both sides. Prob wont have to be pulled apart and repacked every year unless the inside of the clutch housing is dirty. I will check next year and see how they hold up.
no DC only at battery
Hello everyone,
i am new here so if i should direct this to a different part of the forum, please let me know. I have a 2001 or 2002, not sure, Sportsman 500 HO. I bought used and purchased it in 2005. Never had issues. I replaced the battery a couple months ago and all was well.
I went to start it and found 0 operation. No lights, no display, nothing. I pull started it and it did run but know that every thing was running off the battery due to the fact the lights would brighten when throttled up and dim when idle.
i have electric experience so I had volts at the battery and not out of the solenoid with key on. I checked the circuit breakers in the bags and no in or out.
I don't mind chasing voltage so thought i would see if anyone had an idea before i tear apart the run switch.
thank You!
Tim

2019 Scambler 1000
I'm looking for a sport 4X4 and love the Scrambler. I am trying to find out if Polaris will be offering a 2019 Scrambler 1000 with EPS? The 850 is available however it does not have EPS and thats a requirement for me. I have had one dealer tell me no and another tell me that that they will come out in early 2019. Before I buy another brand can anyone tell me for sure if there will be a 2019 Scambler 1000 or not?
Thank you!
Thank you!

New poster-kinda-lost password!
I have owned since new, and after about ten years it seems I have had to put carb. kit in about every 2 years--
So I was thinking about a new carb off eBay--can not afford a OEM--so looking at the reproduction knock offs!
Has anyone had GOOD success, with a certain name in the knockoff world of carburetors.
Any links, direction, suggestions will be greatly appreciated!, Rocky

So I mostly dirtbike, but I do use my quad a lot in the snow and if I just want a relaxing experience. I live in colorado so there is a mixture between very loose decomposed granite/sand/rocks and of course need something for snow and ice! A lot of the trail I ride are usually hard packed snow/ice so its pretty slick.
what do you guys think will do good here? Thanks!!

2002 Sportsman 700 Twin over charging
Need help figuring out why my 700 twin is over charging the battery. I put in a new battery and voltage regulator but still have the issue. At idle it shows 20 or more volts even when I disconnect the regulator all together. Pretty sure it has the original CDI and stator. What’s next?
