Anyone have any ideas. I just bought a new battery today and its doing the same thing. If i rev it the battery gets up to 15-16 volts. At idle its about 12.5. If i turn on anything the volts start to drop...it dies when it gets to 12.2.
The Dreaded Check Engine Light
Well, some of you might remember the Check Engine Light with my brand new 850SP. Yesterday I took a long ride out to a scenic location and on the way back the Check Engine Light came on. I got back and tried to bring up trouble codes by pressing/holding the Mode button and nothing displayed, just like the last time. So, now the light comes on all the time.

2006 Polaris 500 EFI X2 Running Rough and Stalling
Hello, can someone shed some light on this issue? I have two identical machines and have recently blown the fuel tanks out, replaced coils, coil wires, spark-plugs, fuel filters, injectors with o-rings and sleeves, pressure regulators and new fuel pumps and screens. One of the machines has responded great and is running like it did when it was new. The other is running rough, and dying when you let off the throttle. Neither of these machines has many hours on them. They get used during fishing trips to Canada and then they have sat for extended periods. I learned my lesson late about ethanol fuels (have gone strictly non-ethanol), hence the rebuilds of the ignition and fuel delivery systems. Could this be a result of the ASM Sensor that sits directly beyond the injector? The machines are 12 years old, but started up and generally have run very well except for battery issues and a control module replacement on one of them. Up until recently they had never required any of this type of repair work. I wondered about the control module, but this machine isn't acting at all like the one did when it was replaced a few years back. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Chain gaurd
Hello, I'm new to this forum and the trail boss 330. I bought a used one this summer and overall it's a good bike and runs good, just some little issues. Like front bearings and hubs, lol reminder to check that stuff when buying a used bike. Now I'm seeing it rear chain guard is floating around and causing a clanking noise, tried to tighten and its tight, is this normal to have. Thanks

New Sportsman 450 owner
Hi everyone, as the title says I'm the proud new owner of a 2018 Sportsman 450. A couple months ago a friend of mine took me to a trail and let me ride his 570 and I've been hooked ever since. I look forward to learning as much as possible from everyone here, and I'll see you around.
Loose gauge support
So I've been installing a traditional snorkel kit from snorkel your ATV. Honestly it's been really frustrating trying to get things to where they actually make sense and cutting parts to make this 200 dollar ABS kit to fit the way they say it will. The worst part has been getting all the components inside the gauge support just right. Well now that I have the system all installed my gauge support feels the need to pop off every chance it gets even when just sitting in the shop. The snorkel riser assembly and gauge support rocks back and forth and I know it won't stay in the correct position on the trails. Is there any way I can secure this stuff down so I'm not dragging it after a few bumps down the trail? Any experience please weigh in. Thanks.
excess heat on legs
I've a new ride a 570 XT, How do I get rid of the heat. I'm open to suggestions. I'd rather stay with factory fixes right now. I do a lot of slow riding . Thanks Hoot
